1. Do you think that Councils and community members need to have a greater voice in planning and development decisions affecting their local area?
   a greater voice would be a good move as long as it is not general operational planning & development items

2. What role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
   council should have a hands on role in protecting local heritages places from demolition or inappropriate development

3. How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
   these should be listed and easily found on the council website. They should have regular site reviews and the council should work through how maintenance funds could be sourced for the sites.

4. We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
   General public does not know how to or who to contact about what constitutes a local heritage listing could be - education is required History is preserved if new places are added

5. How has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
   I need to research this as I am unaware of what is currently in the code

6. What are the impacts of infill development in your area? What changes would you seek in the rules around infill development?
   none at this time

7. Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
   unsure.

8. How should the community be informed and involved in decisions about new developments?
   council websites & newsletters

9. Do you think there is adequate tree canopy across your local government area?
   probably but there is always room for more tree canopy

10. How would you like to see significant and regulated trees in your area protected from removal?
    these need to be clearly identified & signed so the whole community is aware

11. What involvement should Councils have in decisions about protecting or removing significant and regulated trees?
    council should ensure these are protected and their staff education/awareness needs to be updated regularly on the significant & regulated trees

12. What actions would you advocate to slow or mitigate the impacts of climate change in your local government area?
    continue to have parks & gardens include in Development Plan rules around new/upgrading new buildings with appropriate items to reduce climate change

13. What issues are there with traffic and parking in your area?
    limited issues

14. How could transport options be improved in your area?
    these might be improved by continually upgrading roads and including parking bays and overtaking lanes

15. What would your top three priorities be for improving planning policy and outcomes in your local government area?
    regular review of development plan by council
    education of councillors to ensure they understand the development plan
    ensure community are genuinely heard when they provide feedback and receive the education/advice they require
