1. Do you think that Councils and community members need to have a greater voice in planning and development decisions affecting their local area?
   Yes Councillors and Mayors are voted to be the voice of the residents not to be entitled and start to go against the wishes of the people about their neighbourhood.

2. What role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
   Pass policies that ban the demolition of heritage sites Work with people to identify the heritage sites

3. How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
   Consult the people and other levels of government heavily

4. We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
   The business of the sale of land for housing if unchecked will always lead to the disappearance of heritage sites, delisting and failure to list new sites.

5. How has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
   Give more power to the people in so far as the identification, listing and demolition of sites is concerned

6. What are the impacts of infill development in your area? What changes would you seek in the rules around infill development?
   Overcrowding Lack of street parking Will seek to introduce strategies to curb overdevelopment

7. Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
   This all comes to health and safety 70% labour means more jobs Reducing overdevelopment will lead to decisions to renovate being the easiest way
