  1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
    Council are the most important body given there place in the planning process and therefore need to be very mindfull of what heritage is and what attachment it has to it's community. I believe it is more than just buildings and Councils should have plans and catagorise various sites andbuildings.

  2. What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
    Anything that is within the power of Council but being mindfull there is not a bottomless pitt of money.

  3. What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
    Aboriginnal Heratage and some old buildings.

  4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
    common sense and current policies

  5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
    Yes

  6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
    Done well at Salisbury and we need to maintain this good approach
