  1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
    I believe it is crucial for ensuring future generations have the opportunity learn about their families and communities, pay respect to their efforts.

  2. What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
    I have and will continue to support character zones, and local history places. I also played a critical role in securing a council building to house the Marion History Centre and Historical Society.

    Character zones

  4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
    Our continued lobbying of DPTI for extending character zones

  5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
    Yes

  6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
    It must be maintained to ensure the efforts of past councils are sustained.
