    Continue to have and update/review current heritage and conservation zones. Advocate for protection with State Government if required.

    Heritage grants and awards. Support Port Adelaide Historical Society. Be a strong voice in Council representing ratepayers issues.

  3. What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
    Implication of new planning changes under review by State Government.

  4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
    Council to advocate with State Government to keep current heritage zones and rules

  5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
    Yes for planning affecting heritage buildings.

  6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
    Protection of heritage should be aligned with any potential improvements in tourism for the area, especially in Port Adelaide and Semaphore areas.
