1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
   to encourage ratepayers to look after heritage buildings with any help we can give and without making it harder than necessary to comply, to work together as a team.

2. What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
   good communication and possibly less or no fees for restoration work

3. What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
   the cost of maintaining our local town halls and getting the best outcomes/ uses for the communities/council.

4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
   our council area doesn't have a lot of heritage buildings, but as said before council to work on communication and help with planning for the benefit of the buildings and the community.

5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
   while our council would have nothing in this price range , it isn't a lot of money these days and most probably councils are still the best to make decisions in the local area

6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
   in the years I have been in council there has a bit of work put in, at a lot of cost , for no outcomes that I know about. a few years ago there was a bit of action, but have heard nothing around our local region for a few years now?
