What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
I think council need to look at protecting the natural environment but as for conserving heritage, only if it does not interfere with building or renovations for the area.
What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
having a green community garden where everyone can contribute to the maintenance of the conservation of the environment and incentives for rate payers to get involved with protecting and conserving the local heritage.
What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
the verges, and getting rid of the trees that make it hard for people to walk on pavements and run the risk of hurting themselves on the wattle pods that are in the surrounding electoral are of prospect.
What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
More planting of trees that are environmentally and safe to the community, ie getting rid of the wattle pod trees and trees that create too much mess on the pavements.
Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
yes I do.
Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
no I don't
