YES I DO THE REASON BEING IS WHEN I GO HOME I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A PEACEFUL ME TIME WITHOUT WORRY ABOUT NOICE ETC I FEEL THERE IS COMMON GROUND TO WORK THROUGH ISSUES SO BOTH PARTIES ARE HAPPYWhat role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
COUNCILS SHOULD PLAY A BIG ROLE BECAUSE THE RATEPAYERS ELECTED THEM TO LOOK AFTER THEIR WISHERS AND PASS ON THEIR VIEW IN COUNCILHow would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
I WOULD SEEK THE SUPPORT OF THE RATEPAYERS IN THE AREA TO PRESERVE HISTORY FOR OUR CHILDREN TO ADMIRE THE GREAT STRUCTURE THAT WERE BUILT IN THE GOLDEN DAYSWe rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?

AS STATED IN PEVIOUS QUESTION THE CURRANT PLANNING CODE IS VERY STRONGConstruction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
