YES I DO THE REASON BEING IS WHEN I GO HOME I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A PEACEFUL ME TIME WITHOUT WORRY ABOUT NOICE ETC I FEEL THERE IS COMMON GROUND TO WORK THROUGH ISSUES SO BOTH PARTIES ARE HAPPY
What role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
COUNCILS SHOULD PLAY A BIG ROLE BECAUSE THE RATEPAYERS ELECTED THEM TO LOOK AFTER THEIR WISHERS AND PASS ON THEIR VIEW IN COUNCIL
How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
I WOULD SEEK THE SUPPORT OF THE RATEPAYERS IN THE AREA TO PRESERVE HISTORY FOR OUR CHILDREN TO ADMIRE THE GREAT STRUCTURE THAT WERE BUILT IN THE GOLDEN DAYS
We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE THE BENEFITS ARE TO SAVE FOR OUR CHILDREN AS MENTIONED BEFORE

HERITAGE IS STILL VERY STRONG IN MY AREA THE CURRENT CODE IN MY OPINION IS DOING ITS JOB

Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
